About Us
Hudson Valley Hospice is a nonprofit organization serving Dutchess and Ulster Counties providing hospice and palliative care to people living with serious or life-limiting illnesses. Their goal is to help patients stay comfortable and supported while also guiding families through what can be a very overwhelming time.
Care is most often provided at home, but services are also available in nursing homes, hospitals and at their Hospice House in Hyde Park, NY. Their team includes nurses, physicians, aids, social workers and counselors who focus on pain management, care coordination, and emotional and spiritual support.
Hudson Valley Hospice also supports caregivers - helping with medical equipment, care planning and grief resources - so families don't have to manage everything on their own.
When to reach out
When a loved one has been diagnosed with a serious or terminal illness and you’re starting to think about comfort-focused care, or when caregiving at home begins to feel overwhelming and additional support is needed.
